Becoming one with the forest

A manipulation were she wanted a Lusitano horse with dark manes, tail, horn and wings. I don't like the wings that much because they are really dark, a strong contrast with the horse himself. I really love the colors and the dust is a part from the original picture and addings from me. My manes and tailes are finally improving and now, I have to practise more on horns, because they are always ugly!

~Why Becoming one with the forest?
The horse is a son of Pegasus and Unicorn, and is fallen from the garden of Eden, wich may be found high up in the sky. He's for centuries on earth and is transforming in a guardian, a Fonuc.

~What's a Fonuc?
Fo means forest and nuc means Unicorn.
The wings aren't usefull anymore and are very distracting and difficult to move between the trees.

~Details
4 - 5 houres, Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet, CS4 and lots of patience and breaks

~Inspiraton
It must be a lusitano with dark hair, wings and horn in a forest. I found the wonderfull picture of Pecos (see credits) and I had inspiration!
